Please note: The training for running the instruments in the Digital Fabrication Lab occurs in DF-2100: Rapid Prototyping and CHBE-4200: Additive and Polymer-based Manufacturing. If you have not passed the practical, then you cannot run the machine. However, you can ask a friend who has completed the formal training.
This webpage is under construction, but when complete you will find learning resources and operating procedures for all the instruments in the lab. It is important to reference these documents at startup, shutdown, and during maintenance of the equipment as well as normal operating periods.
Additive Equipment
Please make sure that you are on V3 of the DFL configuration files.
- Follow the instructions for downloading and installing Superslicer here.
- Select the correct SuperSlicer installer for your operating system:
- Download DFL filament printers configuration files here and place in SuperSlicer vendor folder.
